About

Bridget Curtis (B. 2000) is a Nashville based visual artist and writer. Her painting practice explores the body, personal environments, and symbolism. In her work, Curtis considers ideas of psychoanalysis and theories of abjection. Curtis uses the body as a lens to view the world. Through the practices of writing and painting, she asks the question: how can our physical experience reflect grief, violence, ritual, and the unconscious? Bridget is the Gallery Manager at Red Arrow Gallery, in Nashville, TN. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Art History at Belmont University with a focus in Contemporary Art.
